40th Anniversary of National Express

Today marks the 40th anniversary of National Express which is Britain’s only scheduled coach network based in Birmingham.

The coach service first started out in 1972 with around 300 coaches. They’ve continued to expand their services over the decades and now reach approximately 1000 destinations throughout the UK, transporting more than 18 million passengers each year.
