SEO Specialist

We’re looking for a SEO Specialist to join our rapidly expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career and work within an established digital agency based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

You will have great SEO knowledge, spanning across technical, on-page and off-page optimisation.

You will have a way with words, influencing decisions through persuasive writing and have a keen passion for improving the organic search performance of your client’s pages.


  • Researching relevant keywords to meet client and campaign objectives
  • Producing monthly blog content for your clients and additional copy for landing pages, PR articles or FAQs
  • Conducting regular website audits to identify improvements to user journeys and functionality
  • Conducting competitor research to identify opportunities your clients can capitalise on
  • Briefing the development team on technical enhancements such as indexing, structure and loading speed
  • Working with other members of the SEO and content team to execute link-building strategies
  • Staying up to date with latest changes and developments in the SEO industry and converting these into opportunities for clients
  • Setting measurable goals, monitoring campaign performance and compiling results into reports to present to clients


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in implementing SEO strategies
  • Strong knowledge and skills of core SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console and at least one keyword tracking tool
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • The ability to multitask and manage time
  • A strong sense of initiative and work ethic
  • Project management experience


  • Degree in communications or marketing or equivalent
  • Experience in Google Tag Manager but not essential as you can be trained on this if required
  • Experience in WordPress CMS but not essential as you can be trained on this per client
  • Experience in Semrush but not essential as you can be trained on this tool.
