Yesterday, Telecom 150’s very own Jez Roney put his culinary skills to the test on the acclaimed BBC1 Cookery competition, Masterchef, with John Torode and Gregg Wallace. The contestants were challenged to deliver a delicious plate of food without prior planning.

The aspiring Masterchefs were put to the test to identify the ingredients of a pigeon wellington with glazed shallots, purely based on taste. Two chefs then exited the competition leaving three amateur chefs to tackle a busy lunch service at London’s Caxton Grill.

Today we learn that Jez unfortunately was knocked out of the competition last night, but we say flippin’ well done for getting so far. We’re also reminded of Ayn Rand’s quote,

“A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.”
We respect the creative man. Keep striving and there’s always next year.
