OVERVIEW
As a Social Media Executive, you will plan, create and deliver engaging social media content and campaigns for a wide range of clients.
This is a hands-on role that combines content creation, video production, community management, and performance optimisation. You will work closely with our content, design, and digital teams to ensure social activity supports wider marketing objectives and delivers measurable growth in reach, engagement, and leads.
RESPONSIBILITY
Social Media Strategy & Delivery
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with client goals, audiences, and wider marketing campaigns.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of social media content for assigned client accounts, ensuring deadlines, quality, and brand standards are met.
- Plan and manage monthly social media content calendars across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and wider internal teams to ensure social activity supports broader digital and campaign objectives.
- Introduce creative ideas and content approaches to improve engagement and performance.
Content & Video Production
- Create engaging written content, captions, and short-form copy for social platforms.
- Produce and edit short-form video content for social media and websites.
- Confidently represent client brands on camera when required.
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone of voice, guidelines, and campaign objectives.
Community Management & Engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages where required, helping clients maintain a positive and professional online presence.
- Monitor social trends, platform updates, and audience behaviour to inform content planning and engagement activity.
- Execute appropriate outreach for assigned clients, building online communities where required.
Analytics & Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse social media performance, engagement, and reach.
- Support client performance targets by contributing to growth in reach, engagement, leads, and brand visibility through social activity.
- Use insights and reporting to refine content, formats, and posting strategies.
Project & Client Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients in relation to social content and delivery.
- Manage multiple client accounts and content schedules simultaneously.
- Maintain accurate content schedules, approvals, and documentation to ensure smooth delivery and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with account management, content, design and digital teams to deliver high-quality campaigns.
Continuous Learning & Development
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to build skills across content creation, video and digital marketing.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a social media, content, or digital marketing role (agency experience desirable but not essential).
- Experience planning and creating content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for social content.
- Experience producing short-form video content.
- Basic understanding of wider digital marketing principles.
- Experience working in a client-facing environment or managing multiple stakeholders is desirable.
KEY INFORMATION
- Working hours are 08:45am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- This role will be office-based during your three month probation and then can move into a hybrid role if preferred.
