OVERVIEW
Solihull Sixth Form College is a highly regarded provider of A level, BTEC, and T level courses for 16–19-year-olds in the Solihull and Birmingham area. To support student recruitment for the 2026–27 academic year, the college engaged a marketing agency to design and print a new sixth form prospectus, along with creating related promotional materials in a modern, cohesive style.

HIGHER EDUCATION PROSPECTUS DESIGN
A brand new prospectus was developed to meet the needs of three key audiences: prospective students aged 15–16, their parents or guardians, and internal college stakeholders responsible for student recruitment.
The design prioritised a modern, clean layout with a visually appealing colour palette to clearly communicate the college’s academic offerings, progression pathways, and career opportunities, while also capturing the attention of prospective students and their parents.
The prospectus was structured to be visually engaging and easy to navigate, ensuring that information was logically presented and accessible to each audience. QR codes were also incorporated strategically to connect readers with online resources such as course details, application forms, and social media channels, bridging print and digital touchpoints.
Print & Digital Production
The final prospectus was delivered as a high-quality printed publication, aligned with the college’s specifications to support distribution at open events and school liaison visits. To further extend reach and accessibility, a digital page-turning version was also produced for integration into the college’s website. This format enhanced user experience for online visitors, allowing easy navigation and interactive engagement.
DIGITAL ASSETS & SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS
Supporting social media animations and graphics were developed to complement the prospectus and align with the college’s recruitment strategy. Animated content and static graphics were created to communicate key admissions dates, such as open days, application deadlines, and enrolment milestones.
The assets were designed specifically for platforms like Instagram and Facebook to provide visually engaging, easily digestible content for both prospective students and parents, ensuring important information could be accessed quickly and consistently across digital channels.
STRATEGIC CONTENT CAPTURE
An on-site content day focused on capturing authentic student photography, reflecting the college’s priority for real-life representation. The session produced a wide range of images showcasing student life, classroom environments, and the vibrant campus setting. These genuine visuals were intended to connect emotionally with prospective students and parents, while adding credibility and impact to both print and digital assets.
