Located in Staffordshire, Green Space Creations specialise in crafting garden buildings for customers, providing aesthetic and functional outdoor spaces.

From premium garden rooms to spacious summerhouses and garden sheds, they manage the whole process, from bases and site visits through to electrics and installation. With the peak season approaching, they were looking to maximise sales through specialist marketing for garden buildings.

STREAMLINING COMMUNICATION USING WHATSAPP FOR BUSINESS 

WhatsApp for Business was introduced to simplify customer communications, giving Green Space Creations a direct and efficient way to share updates on offers, products, and orders. The platform was also optimised to improve the management of enquiries and orders. This streamlined approach helped improve response times and strengthen customer relationships.
 
Alongside this, Green Space Creations’ social media profiles were optimised to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms, creating a cohesive and engaging experience for their audience. 

TARGETED META ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS 

A highly targeted Meta ad campaign was initiated to increase awareness and generate enquiries. The ads were split-tested and optimised for maximum engagement, ensuring Green Space Creations reached the right audience at the right time.

A retargeting audience was developed to re-engage high-intent prospects and maintain brand visibility, increasing the chance of conversion. Additional ads were also added to the campaign around key events, including bank holidays and seasonal discounts.

As part of this campaign, a series of organic social posts were shared, providing further touchpoints and information. This included a video showing how to locate the showroom, helping guide potential customers. 

STRATEGIC CONVERSION RATE OPTIMISATION 

The website was optimised to make it easier for visitors to convert, with contact forms added to every product page. These pages doubled as landing pages for the Meta ads, creating a seamless journey for customers from ad click to enquiry.

A welcome emailer was integrated with the mailing list sign-up form, providing an additional touchpoint to nurture new leads and encourage future conversions. 

THE RESULT

The campaign delivered strong results for Green Space Creations, generating enquiries at a cost of £106 per conversion, with an average order value of £12,000 for an elite garden order and £1,500 for a shed. Therefore, the potential return from each enquiry represents a significant impact for the business. 

Working with EDGE has been great, and their support has been invaluable. Not only have we seen a real increase in enquiries coming through the website from the ads, but we’ve also had customers phone us to enquire or visit the store after seeing an ad, especially during sale promotions

We’re already planning for the next peak season with EDGE to make sure we achieve maximum impact, getting all the groundwork done while things are quieter. It’s been a really positive experience from start to finish.

Rios Blinds

Mobile Facebook social media design work for Rios Blinds

Summary

Rio’s Blinds are a Birmingham-based company specialising in custom, made-to-measure blinds. They travel across the midlands with a focus on two main things: quality of service and speed, which is why they strive to offer a same-day service wherever possible and even offer free quotations and fitting.

They are proud to offer a huge variety of blinds to their customers that will fit seamlessly with the style and feel of their home, which can be made-to-measure depending on the customer’s needs.

The team at Rios Blinds reached out to us in 2022 for help with optimising their existing Facebook advertising campaign. They were generating large numbers of leads at the time, but only a fraction of these were relevant to their intended audience.

The Task

Rios Blinds needed to make sure that they were targeting the right people with their adverts to help save both time and money.

Due to the custom, made-to-measure aspect of their blinds, Rios require the customers to arrange a visit to their home, at a time suitable to them, to provide an accurate quote.

However, many people who interacted with their previous ad campaign were expecting instant quotes and were uninterested in arranging a visit.

As Rios were paying for each enquiry, this meant that they were spending money on people who weren’t the right fit for their service. Our job was to ensure that the adverts were finding the right audience so that the majority of quote requests were from legitimate, relevant customers.

The Results

We started this project by first designing brand new adverts for Rios Blinds which both appealed to the target audience on Facebook and included details about the quotation process. We emphasised in the copy that customers would need to book an appointment to receive a free quotation, given that the blinds would need to be measured to the exact specifications of the window.

We also pushed the tailored aspect of Rios Blinds, effectively communicating the specialist nature of their service so that potential customers with non-standard windows will be more interested in working with them.

Both these choices were made to reduce the amount of time wasted on customers who were looking for a different kind of service.

As a result of our new Facebook campaign, Rios Blinds has seen 360 new, legitimate leads in the first two months, and this continues to grow.

We will continue working with Rios Blinds to tweak their social media advertising with the hopes of attracting more business from a wider range of sources.

Albion England are an industry-leading Equestrian manufacturer. Started in 1985, the Albion England brand was originally born out of a desire to pioneer a premium range of equestrian accessories.

Delivering high-quality products and blending traditional values and artisan craftsmanship, the company has evolved into a leading brand within their industry. The business has recently evolved its core values to the creation of both accessories for the shooting fraternity and a lifestyle range.

Our relationship with Albion England began when they approached us wanting to increase sales on their newly developed e-commerce website. They sought to merge away from solely using printed marketing by increasing their digital marketing.

The Task

We assisted Albion in maintaining their website to ensure the customer experience was 1st-class. To ensure this was the case to meet their objectives, we added additional functionality to the website to capture users’ details, implemented new forms to assist users and surveys to collect valuable feedback.

The Results

To drive traffic to the website, we set up advertisements via social media. From identifying the audience with their geo-interests, we can effectively advertise and remarked products. This allows customers to be on the purchasing journey where they can purchase when it suits them. With the addition of email marketing, we continued the customer journey from setting up automated email funnels to provide discounts and product reminders.

Rudds

Summary

Rudds Wellies are a brand new start-up that sell wellies to three distinct target markets: horse riding, farming and sailing. The wellies have been crafted to work with the customer’s lifestyle.

 

The Task

We were tasked with creating the Rudds Wellies brand and sub-brand for each product from scratch, encapsulating the right look and feel to project the brand values and appeal to both consumers and funders.

We needed to translate this brand across packaging, an e-commerce website, exhibition materials, printed materials and infographics for social media. As with any start-up we had to work within budget constraints.

We needed to create a strong brand that not only made Rudds Wellies stand out as a unique product in a highly competitive market, but also reflected their brand values and what they do.
Before we got started, we thought about each of the end users and what branding would attract them to buy the product. Each audience is different and needed a different feel while keeping the overall branding consistent in order for it to be translated across digital and print.

We created logos for each brand and sub brand that captured the hand crafted nature of the brand, lifestyle-led ethos and consumer research that had been conducted within the design phase. We chose a colour palette to suit each type of welly, Pantone matching each colour with the colours of the rubber boots.

The Results

Once we had the right look and colour palette, we then set about creating the shoe box for the wellies and the website. The packaging was designed to use the natural form of the cardboard to give it an authentic and rustic feel and sit well with the outdoor nature of the boots. We spot colour matched all printed material including flyers and exhibition stands.

The e-commerce website has been designed with the user journey in mind and is product and lifestyle-led, supporting the brand identity. It is fully responsive and integrates video and reviews from their twitter feed.
Rudds Wellies has gone from strength to strength due to its consistent branding across digital and print.

There has been a lot of interest in the brand at exhibitions and investor events which have propelled the brand forward, creating strong foundations for it to continue growing.
