Summary

Sutton Tutorials are a specialised provider of private tuition to help students in Sutton Coldfield prepare for grammar school entrance exams, primarily offering one-to-one sessions and mock exam sessions. They also provide help with GCSE and A-Level exam preparation.

They help prepare students using tailored teaching methods to help strengthen the areas in which a student might be struggling. Sutton Tutorials pride themselves on the bespoke learning approach they undertake, allowing them to focus on the needs of the individual, including detailed feedback and action points to help each student reach their maximum potential.

The Task

Sutton Tutorials approached EDGE with the goal of increasing the number of students booking in to sit mock exams, which usually take place between March and August, prior to the academic year. They usually have just under 100 students taking mock exams in August, each of whom then benefit from the tailored and specific feedback their tutors give back.

Before we could increase the number of students taking these exams, we first needed to understand how Sutton Tutorials were handling their marketing and outreach efforts. We conducted a website audit to analyse its functionality, whether it was fit for purpose, and how to improve it.

Following our audit, we added a third colour to their palette to improve the look of the website and to draw more attention to CTA’s, which were previously hidden by similar colour choices. Next, we identified several ways to increase internal linking opportunities and added E-commerce tracking capabilities into their analytics.

Lastly, we set up several targeted Google Ads campaigns, starting with a Performance Max campaign to increase awareness of Sutton Tutorials through relevant audience interests, followed by a targeted Search campaign to attract users via specific queries.

The Results

We have seen positive results from our work with Sutton Tutorials. The Performance Max campaign twinned with the improvements we made to the website quickly generated 87 conversions from a broader, target audience, resulting in an average cost-per-click of just 53p.

Utilising the data we gathered from the initial Performance Max campaign, the Search campaign generated a huge 14.8% conversion rate after just one month which resulted in an increase of 86% in conversions.

The first mock exam hosted by Sutton Tutorials this year had a 27.2% increase in students compared to the same exam in the previous year, while the second mock exam session saw a 62.3% increase in students.

We will continue to adapt our advertisement work over the coming months as our partnership with Sutton Tutorials develops, and we are excited to see where our partnership will take us.

Summary

H&G Recruitment are a national organisation specialising in HGV driving, warehouse and supply chain jobs to the transport and logistics sector. Their extensive branch network allows them to provide both temporary and permanent staff to an endless range of business sectors. With a client base of national blue-chip companies, H&G are one of the UK’s leading recruitment agencies, driving growth for some of the UK’s best-known supermarkets and delivery companies.

The Task

H&G’s previous website was discouraging potential applicants as the job search proved to be complicated and the overall user journey was unsatisfactory, resulting in high bounce rates site wide. A drop in on-site conversions lead H&G to come to us as a marketing agency with the task of improving their website’s UX to produce an increase in job applications and CV uploads.

Through an extensive and detailed wireframing process, we mapped out a website that was both optimised for conversions and effectively communicated H&G’s brand identity and processes.

Through further digital techniques such as social media advertising, landing pages and PPC campaigns, we lead their target audience to relevant job listing pages and single pages to encourage them
to convert.

The Results

After launching the new website, our focus on the user experience resulted in an increase of 100% in CV uploads and 1400% in job applications. This took the previous conversion rate of the old website from 0.57% to 3.15% – an improvement of 450%.

Our SEO-friendly website saw conversions via organic traffic increase by over 400%. Social media and PPC activity resulted in a 254% increase of sessions to the website and 253% improvement in sessions from mobile devices.

We’ve complemented their increased business expansion with engaging landing pages to drive applications for roles with some of the UK’s biggest household names. We’ve also helped H&G celebrate their 15th and 16th anniversaries of trading with animated logos, social media skins and press releases in national publications.

Summary

Founded in 2019, Link Engineering specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering. Based in Birmingham, they offer a variety of services from building investigation to planning support and civil & structural engineering design, demonstrating their extensive experience in a wide range of projects. Through using modern proactive design and technical expertise, they will provide you with consistent and cost-effective solutions.

The Task

When Link Engineering was looking for a digital marketing company, they wanted somewhere that was local to them. After connecting with us in January 2021, we were tasked with designing and producing business stationery such as a new credential document, business cards, animated email signatures and brand guidelines. Furthermore, Link Engineering were looking to create a new website that took them from a start-up to a well-established business.

The team got to work to create bespoke and authentic designs for their stationery that incorporated and amplified their existing unique brand identity. Once the general look and feel had been established, we carried these through to the website designs.

The Results

Our team worked tirelessly to produce a stunning website that matches Link Engineering’s ambitions of becoming the leader in the structural and civil engineering industry.

When ARMCO, a long-term partner of EDGE Creative, reached out with this new business venture we were thrilled to take it on board and help shape it from its infancy. From the initial creation of the business name to the branding look and feel, we moved at pace to deliver further digital assets such as the website design and development, social media planning, exhibition materials for their launch and photography. Amongst delivering lots of other creative works, our team excelled at every challenge and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the business come to life.

We worked closely with the CEO and other Partners to ensure everything created was aligned with the company’s core values and strategic goals, whilst working to deadlines to ensure all work was ready for the official launch day. It was imperative that these deadlines were met for the live event and that the brand was showcased correctly for this incredible new global business.

The Results

Many of the EDGE team were involved with delivering the various projects over the past several months, ready for the launch day, from our strategic thinkers, team of developers to our brand designers and copywriters. Creating their branding, our designers crafted a warm luxury colour palette of golds, coppers and orange, with a contrasting colour of navy blue.

The Forest Hotel is a privately owned boutique hotel, restaurant and bar located in the heart of Dorridge, Solihull. Founded in 1852, this independent hotel gives each of their customer and unforgettable experience with every stay.

The Task

We have worked with The Forest Hotel for some time now, whom since coming under new management after 30 years, required a new brand direction that aligned with their vision and exciting renovation plans.

Our strategic and creative team worked closely alongside the new owners to implement a fresh new look and feel, which still needed to resonate with its heritage and long-standing community. We also need to promote the new resident restaurant offering by The Butchers Social.

The Results

Our strategic team of designers used their expertise to create a cohesive brand that would be displayed consistently throughout all brand assets and marketing materials, both online and offline and further more into the interiors of the new refurbishment. This included a warm welcoming colour palette that included a range of greens, burnt orange, earthy browns and copper. These cosy tones collectively bring together the ‘Forest’ theme of the hotel, full of adventure and a state of enchantment.

After the new branding was launched, we continued to grow the brand through their customer service channels and employee communications. Our work included dual branded uniforms, menus, POS, email marketing, website, video, signage, interior design, brand management, and presentations.

The Task

In February 2021, Cargo Express was looking for a marketing agency in Birmingham to help improve their website’s look and feel, as well as market their business digitally through SEO and social media. This led Cargo Express to revisit a previous proposal from us with integrated marketing solutions that would help them improve the brand’s digital positioning and meet their digital goals.

With this challenge in our hands, our development and design team began to reimagine Cargo Express’ website possibilities to deliver a smoother and quicker user journey, in addition to bringing a new consistency to their branding.

The Results

The team created a bespoke website for Cargo Express, with a new and improved user journey plus fresh imagery from the photoshoot we held of their fleet. Moreover, our content and SEO team worked together to rewrite the website’s content to improve SEO results and increase organic traffic.

Alongside our SEO work, we took over their social platforms in September 2021. Since we’ve been managing their social accounts, Cargo Express’ following has increased by 8.7% on Facebook and 83.6% on LinkedIn.

Our work for Cargo Express has tapped into more areas than just web design, SEO strategies, and social media marketing – we’ve also supported them with digital stationery, digital PR, e-mail marketing, and branding merchandise.

The Results

As an agency that delivers integrated marketing solutions, we grew their brand recognition via different mediums. Since the start of our relationship, we have since launched two websites, produced content and managed their social media channels and created segmented and effective e-mail marketing strategies. We acted as a strategic partner to reposition the company as an employee benefits provider. We have worked to reposition the company to reflect their place in the fintech world.

The Task

With the introduction of their Smart Hive and Reward & Recognition platforms, we rebranded the look, feel and branding of Bravo Benefits to align better with the needs of today’s businesses, bringing their simple and easy-to-implement fintech solutions to the forefront.

To ensure we met their objectives, we implemented a new marketing strategy, researching their position in the market to identify objectives, KPI’s and customer journeys to create fresh, coherent branding and messaging across a range of digital platforms including web and

The Results

The updated Bravo Benefits website reflects the spirit of what they do: support employers and their employee’s wellbeing. The site has been optimised to convert visitors to leads, established around a clear conversion strategy, informing visitors who Bravo Benefits are, what they do and how to become a customer. Using an integrated marketing strategy, we were able to focus on a website redesign concentrated on increasing lead generation efforts. Alongside the website development, we implemented a new marketing strategy to maximise engagement and interactions across web and social media to generate leads, improve brand awareness and direct traffic to the new website.

With partners ranging from Blenheim Palace to Nickelodeon Adventure Lakeside, Vennersys are known for their one-stop-shop, fully-integrated, ticketing and point-of-sale solution, VenposCloud. Above all, this system helps attractions increase revenue, reduce queues, and improve the customer experience.

The Task

After winning a pitch ahead of several other digital marketing agencies, EDGE Creative were tasked with creating an overall marketing strategy for Vennersys that would support and sustain their impressive business growth.

As part of this strategy, Vennersys needed a highly engaging website, using impressive visuals and informative copy to drive more traffic through search engine optimisation (SEO) and improve the user journey for their customers.

Our goal was to help Vennersys highlight their extensive experience and specialist knowledge across multiple sectors, while also creating a user experience (UX) that was simple and straightforward for their clients.

The Results

As with all our website projects, we worked closely with our client to bring their vision to life. Through our detailed wireframing process, we mapped out each part of the website and its functionality to focus on a simple and straightforward navigation tool.

We ensured that enquiries could be easily tracked by featuring a 24/7 integrated online chat platform through Zoho, and a prominent link to the customer portal. This allowed Vennersys to increase their organic conversion rate by 46.8%. We also drew emphasis to their commitment to customer service and feel by using engaging and memorable character illustrations throughout the website and other marketing materials.

When creating the website, search engine optimisation (SEO) was our top priority, optimising each page to drive visits, clicks, and conversions through keyword-rich content and prioritising accessibility as part of our content marketing service. Our dedication to a comprehensive SEO strategy has increased sessions by 46.48% and the number of new users by 57.98%, as well as Unique Page Views by 45.76% when comparing to the previous year.

The Task

Honeymoon Dreams is a travel agent site that sells tailor-made holidays. In 2016 their plan was to create national awareness but their previous site was dated, unresponsive and didn’t have the functionality they needed to cater for a bigger audience. We were tasked with creating a website that not only looked great but performed well.

The user journey was thoroughly planned out, with the wants and needs of the customer in mind. This included adding a wish list and VIP area to enhance its exclusive feel.

Once the website was built and we were confident that it was able to meet Honeymoon Dreams’ online demand, they appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway to give away a honeymoon as one of the prizes.

The Results

Since the launch, Honeymoon Dreams have received a huge increase of traffic to the website. Around 80% of this increase are new users, which shows a strong brand awareness with a website that is strong enough to match. In the month after launch there was a 29% increase in mobile traffic and a 575% increase in referrals from Facebook. This illustrates that the user journey and usability of the new site are now tailored perfectly to all types of traffic.

With us being a particularly demanding client, throughout the build, EDGE were always very friendly and eager to help come up with innovative solutions for some of our more complicated requirements. We are extremely happy with the way our site has turned out, with a lot of hard work, it is now something we are really proud of.
